Award-winning certified etiquette professional and motivational speaker, Dr. Verna Caddie, set to recognize 30 men and women for their amazing contribution to the betterment of the community
Dr. Verna Caddie is not resting on her oars of helping to create beauty inside and out and encouraging development as she honors more than 30 men and women of different age groups. The decision to celebrate the selected individuals for their exceptional contribution to developing the community will motivate others to do more in making the world a better place.
Dr. Verna Caddie founded Casting Your Cares, Inc, Devine Creations, Devine Prom Project, and several other initiatives to empower young ladies, mothers, and sons.
Over the years, the etiquette and debutante coach, otherwise known as “The Etiquette Diva”, has continued to promote education for people, irrespective of their race, background, or age group while encouraging others to follow suit.
The recognition of the efforts of more than 30 people for their tremendous community development initiatives further substantiates this claim.
Devine Creations is one of the non-profit organizations created by Dr. Verna Caddie. Over the years, Dr. Caddie has worked with more than 100 young women in greater Houston and surrounding areas. The organization offers programs to help young ladies become responsible adults.
Dr. Verna Caddie has partnered with several ministries and community organizations through Devine Creations to create a safe place for girls to meet and interact, helping to build their self-esteem and self-confidence while also strengthening the necessary skills to make better life choices and opportunities.
The efforts of Dr. Caddie have not gone unnoticed, featuring on different platforms, including Birnam / Murray Production Company Sizzle Reel. The former Miss. Texas Pageant contestant also received a Proclamation from Houston’s Mayor Annise Parker for providing free prom gowns to young ladies.
On December 5, 2021 Dr. Verna Caddie, will honor local and around the United States leaders who give to others, to make the world a better place. These 30 men and woman will receive The President’s Lifetime Volunteer Service Award.
This year’s event will be held at The Humble Civic Center, with keynote speaker Dr. Benita Ledet “known as The Love Doctor”. Emceeing this year’s ceremony Dr. Alissa R. Jones.
